¡Qué difícil se me hace elegir UN solo hit impepinable de Dead Moon!. ¿Debería poner alguno de los que he tocado yo mismo (The way it is y Johnny’s got a gun)¿ ¿Quizá una de sus desgarradoras baladas de romanticismo sucio? (Dagger Moon, por ejemplo) o ¿uno de las energizantes himnos garageros del tipo de 54/40 or fight?
Seguramente esta última opción es la que más se acerca al concepto de hit impepinable: ritmo trepidante, riff pegadizo, melodía coreable y estribillo rabioso. Un hitazo, sí, pero hay dos canciones que tienen un poco de todo lo que hace tan especial a Dead Moon y que me tocan la fibra a mí con más intensidad, una es Running out of time; la otra, la finalmente elegida para hoy, es These times with you, esta maravilla de poner los pelos como escarpias, que aquí vemos en una versión en directo que se escucha decentemente y en la que “jugaban en casa”, en Portland, Oregon.
